NoLedge - Note taker and reference management freeware
NoLedge is an open-source freeware designed to serve as an academic or general notebook. It includes a simple and (hopefully) user-friendly interface and allows the creation of "notes", similar to articles in Wikis. It is also meant to be used
as a reference management software.
Designed for academic purposes, it includes the following functionnalities:
-Tracking of complete references in a format compatible with both BibTeX and RIS file. Citations can also be exported in MS Word Bibliography format.
-Ability to subdivise your notes and to include them in other notes
-Hierarchical tagging of notes allowing many-to-many relationships
-Two way linking of notes through "relations"
-Hyperlinking of external URL and linking between internal notes
-Automatic tracking of the date of last modification & daily history of modifications
-LaTeX equation rendering
-Advanced search using Lucene.Net
-Formatting (limited to the basics to avoid needless crowding of the user's interface)
-Minimal table & image support
-Statistics on database usage
